Box-office monster “Zootopia” has been called the “most Easter egg-packed(彩蛋) movie ever made by Disney”. One of its Easter eggs comes to the species of the news anchor seen on the film’s ZNN channel. Depending on where in the world you’re watching “Zootopia”, the type of animals hosting may change.
Zootopia went a step further to make the different versions (版本). In the US, Canada, France, the news anchor is moose(麋鹿). In Brazil, it’s a jaguar(美洲虎). Australia and New Zealand get a koala; while Chinese audiences see a giant panda.
User Reviews
What can I say…. I’m a huge Disney fan. Maybe not like my friend over at Reviewing All 54 Disney Animated Films. And More!, the Disney cartoons have been a big part of my life. So, in a sense, the Disney animated features are a big deal to me.
Whether young or old, Zootopia’s story carries a powerful and thematic commentary message that’s highly valued and relative (especially in today’s world). As Judy Hopps says in the movie “Life’s a little bit messy. We all make mistakes. No matter what type of animal you are, change starts with you.” And I can’t agree more with that statement.
【1】 In the film, the animal hosting turns into a ___________ if you live in Sydney.
A. koala B. giant panda
C. moose D. jaguar
【2】Who is one of the directors of the film?

D.Zootopia made different versions which are called “Easter egg-packed”.
【5】Where can we infer (推断) from the User Review?
A.She is a huge Disney fan.

C.She agrees with the message that the film carries.
D.She does not agree with what Judy Hopps says.

26、Teens take a stand
COP 26 was held in Glasgow, Scotland. It’s the United Nations’ climate change conference (会议) on dealing with global warming.
Many world leaders took part in the event. But there were also lots of teenagers from different countries there to make their voices heard. At 15, my friend Chelsea Liang from Edinburgh was one of the young participants at COP 26. I was able to ask her some questions about her experience there.
Liang participated as a junior representative (代表) of C Team, a non-governmental organization, which organized all the events at the China Cooperate Pavilion (馆). “I helped set up the stadium, hosted meetings, engaged in youth events, and joined the audience in the meetings. I met many young people who really care about the environmental problem,” said Liang.
“The major topic from teen participants is that governments act to limit global warming to 1.5℃,” she said. “Some of them met in Glasgow to call for a better future.”
The well-known British naturalist David Attenborough was the eldest participant of the event. Liang said that the 96-year-old made an inspiring speech.
“He said, ‘In my lifetime, I’ve seen a terrible decline (衰退). In yours, you could and should witness a wonderful recovery. That desperate hope is why the world is looking to you and why you are here.’ His words encouraged me to take action,” Liang said. “And I realized that as teenagers we are able to come up with good ideas to make a difference.”
