22、 People have told stories about Robin Hood for over 700 years. Nobody knows if he was a real person or an invented character. In the legends, Robin was extremely smart and humorous. The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood appeared in 1883. It was Howard Pyle's first book and it was a great success.
