24、 School Activity: the “Exercise Month”
A number of important school activities are coming up, and the biggest one is the “Exercise Month”.
What is our aim（目的）?
The “Exercise Month” is organized by the Youth Sports Club. The main aim of this activity is to improve our school members’ knowledge about the importance of exercise.

26、 There is a place on our earth where hot water and steam come up from under the ground. It is a large island in the Pacific. The island is North Island, in New Zealand.
The planet on which we live is a ball of very hot rock. It is a good thing for us that the outside shell is cold. If it were not, no one could live here. What if our earth were only as big as an egg ?Then the outside part would be as thin.as the egg's shell.

27、After my memoir (自传) Becoming came out, I heard something similar from strangers, friends and family. They said, “I just can’t believe you remembered that much.” In fact, when I think back to the days of writing my memoir, what I remember most is the feeling of trying hard to find back the old memories.
