22、All living things on the earth need other living things to live. Nothing lives alone. Most animals must live in a group, and even a plant grows close together with others of the same kind. 23、In the past, most people stopped eating meat and eggs for Lent (大斋期), the 40-day period before Easter. So, on Shrove Tuesday, the last day before Lent, they had a big celebration.
