一、翻译题 (共1题,共 5分)
  • 1、   It's important to teach children to create strong passwords(密码).So why not remind them that passwords mustn’t be shared with anyone?

A strong password is a word that is as difficult as possible to guess because it looks like a set of random characters(随机的字符).

It's wise to use the whole keyboard to mix a password with letters, numbers and symbols. A password of 14 characters or more may be much safer.

The following tips will tell you how to create a strong and safe password:

Tip 1: Think of a sentence that is easy to remember, but difficult to guess. For example: "My son Peter is five years old and my daughter Tina is one year old." 这个句子太长以至于它不可能是一个密码. So what you can do is to use the first letter of each word to make a new password that seems to be meaningless. That is "mypifyoamdtioyo"

Tip 2: Make the password more difficult to guess by mixing big and small letters. One way to do this is to use big and small letters one after another. In this way this new password will be "MsPiFyOaMdTiOyO".

Tip 3: Still using the sentence above, you can also add numbers that are meaningful to you. As a result, the new password will be "Mspi5yOaMdTilyO".

Tip 4: Add punctuation(标点符号)and symbols to make the password much stronger. You. may use symbols, numbers and punctuation to take the place of some letters which look similar. For example: "MsPi3y0@MdTi! y0". (o=0, a=@, 1=!

对我们来说记住这些提示很有必要. They can help us to keep our personal information safe.

  • 22、The Big Lottery is giving money to groups of teenagers between 14 and 19 who want to become active citizens. The teenagers who would like to help make the area you live in better, cleaner, safer and friendlier can actually get money for improving your local community(社区). We have $80,000 to give away. We are looking for young people to take part in schemes(规划)and projects near where they live.

Here are a few easy things you could do to get started.

Meeting the neighbours: Everybody needs good neighbours. Knock on people’s door and find out what they would like to improve in your area. Set a date for a meeting and then make some plans together. If you don't want to go to their houses, then you could always put a note through their doors.

Neighbourhood Watch: Neighbourhood watch schemes are very popular in the UK. If you go away on holiday and leave your house, it’s very nice to know that a neighbour is keeping an eye on it. It’s a good way to make the area you live in safer. You could set one up easily and quickly.

Lending a hand: There are often elderly people living in the neighbourhood who may not be able to do the things that you can. Offer to do their shopping once a week, look after their garden for them or maybe walk their dog.

No littering: Nobody likes picking up other people's rubbish, but a clean street can make all the difference. Take turns to go out once or twice a week and see what you can find. You never know that one day you might find something valuable.

Recycling: Nearly two-thirds of your rubbish can be recycled. Some areas have already provided places for people to recycle bottles, tins, plastic and paper. Find out if this is done in your neighbourhood. If it’s not, do something about it.

So go on...Just tell us what kind of project you want to join in. Then well send you more details. Take positive action and help make your neighbourhood a better place to live.

【1】The aim of the Big Lottery is _________.

    A.to make the neighbourhood busier

B.to help the old people in the community

    C.to improve the local community

D.to help young babies in the neighbourhood

    A.Anyone who wants to.

    B.All teenagers.

    C.Students in the neighbourhood.

    D.Teenagers from 14 to 19.

A.neighbourhood watch is good to make the community cleaner

B.how to make the community safer and friendlier

C.lending a hand means lending some money to others

D.to help neighbours do what they wouldn’t like to do

【4】What should you do if you want to make the neighbourhood cleaner?

B.Pick up the rubbish and find something valuable in the street.

C.Find out the recycled rubbish and throw it everywhere.
