25、 Sports were historically thought as a boys’ activity. Since a federal(联邦法律) law was passed in 1972, schools have offered many sports for girls. However, there is still unfairness between boys and girls. For example, a school may have a football team only for boys, but a volleyball team only for girls. So can girls play boys’ sports on a boys’ team? There are different opinions among people.
Some people strongly against girls playing boys’ sports on a boys’ team. They often say it could be dangerous for girls. On average, girls are shorter and weigh less than boys, which give girls an unfair disadvantage. So during the game, girls could be injured.
