It is transporting Major General Zhai Zhigang, the mission commander, Senior Colonel Wang Yaping and Senior Colonel Ye Guangfu to Tiangong’s core module(舱)Tianhe, or Harmony of Heavens.
Wang is China’s second female astronaut to participate in a spaceflight and was a member of the Shenzhou-10 mission in June 2013. She will become the first Chinese woman to enter the Tiangong space station and conduct a spacewalk. Zhai is the country’s first astronaut to take a spacewalk, having done so when he was mission commander during the Shenzhou-7 mission in September 2008. Ye is making his first journey to space.
“△ The trip used to take about two days, but this time, it took only 6.5 hours after leaving the earth,” said Gao Xu, one designer of the Shenzhou-13. This is as long as a high-speed train trip from Beijing to Hunan.
The Shenzhou-13 crew is tasked with a wide range of tasks, including performing two to three spacewalks to install a small robotic arm onto a larger one; verifying key procedures and technologies such as the manual control of the robotic arms and the robotic arm-assisted movement of station modules; checking the performance and capability of devices inside the station; and testing support instruments for astronauts’ lives and work during long-term flights. They will conduct scientific experiments and technology demonstrations in space medicine, microgravity physics and other fields.

26、 The water hyacinth(水葫芦)grows in tropical countries where the weather is hot and wet. It has beautiful purple-blue flowers, but everybody hates it. Why?
Millions and millions of these plants grow in rivers and lakes. Sometimes the plants become so thick that people can walk on them. People cannot travel in boats on the water, and they cannot fish in it. The plants stop the water from moving. Then the water carries diseases. Farmers cannot use the water on their land.
Now scientists think that water hyacinths can be useful. The plants are really a free crop. No one has to take care of them. They just grow and grow and grow. What can farmers use them for?
Some fish like to eat them. Farmers can grow these fish in the lakes and rivers.
Workers can collect and cut the plants with machines. Then they can make fertilizer(肥料) to make their crops grow better. They can also make feed for their farm animals.
Now we burn gas from petroleum(石油) for energy. Maybe this plant can help to make methane gas (CH4) instead of petroleum. Methane gas can be made from plants. Then poor tropical countries will not have to buy so much expensive petroleum. Maybe in the future people will love the water hyacinth instead of hating it.
【1】According to the passage, the water hyacinth can grow in________.
A.Russia. B.Canada. C.Thailand
【2】Why do people hate water hyacinths?
A.No fish can live in the water with water hyacinths.

27、My granddaughter, 10, was very happy the day before yesterday because her mother and the mother of one of her classmates took them to a park and a Pizza Hut (比萨饼屋) to celebrate Children's Day. For a whole day, the two girls played heartily - no homework, no extra-curricular (课外) skills training. The happy life lasted only for one day. Yesterday, everything returned to normal: doing homework till late at night and going over lessons learned at last weekend's English and "Olympic mathematics" courses.

The piece that hit her was light, and the air in the atmosphere had slowed it down. Most space junk burns up and doesn’t reach the Earths s【7】. But in 2011, a metal ball 35 centimeters wide fell to Earth in Namibia, Africa. It made a hole in the ground 30 centimeters deep and over 3 meters wide. Lottie was lucky she wasn’t hit by that!
