Parents say that kids never listen, but this is far from true. From a young age, children pick up signals from relatives about weight, appearance. After spending 1,560 hours a year watching the super-beautiful celebrities on TV or internet, many teens are not satisfied with their own shape. More than 90% of girls aged 15-17 want to change at least one part of their appearance—usually their weight.
The thought of so many outside things influences on teens can be terrible—but it doesn’t have to be.
