24、How long whales live in fresh water has become a matter of some discussion with several visits of whales to fresh water. The interest in this matter first became hottest in 1985 when Humphrey the humpback whale (座头鲸) managed several weeks in the fresh water of the Sacramento River before finally returning to the Pacific Ocean.
