1、 Have you ever complained( 抱 怨 )why life is so tiring? Does the sky sometimes seem dark to you? Are your lessons sometimes not successful? Well, friends, cheer up and smile all the time. If you see the world with your warm heart, you will find the whole world smiling to you
一个晴朗的早上,你计划散散步来放松自己。Just before you go out, it suddenly starts to rain. Maybe you would feel very sad and start to complain about the weather. But dear friends, why not sit down and listen to the free concert that the nature brings you? And with the timely rain, crops (庄稼)in the field will grow better and farmers will have a good harvest(收获).
Although everyone wants to succeed in what he tries to do. Life isn’t a bed of roses, then, it's very common to meet difficulties on the way to success. In fact, difficulty isn't terrible. The real terrible thing is that we are afraid of it. Difficulty is like a spring (弹簧).If you are weak, it will be strong. So when you meet difficulties, don’t give up.相反,你应该微笑着面对困难。Attitude decides everything. With an optimistic(乐观的) attitude, life is easy and pleasant. If you want to be happy, try to remember these five easy rules. Free your heart from hate; Free your mind from worries:
Live an easy life; Give more; Expect less. The quickest way to receive happiness is to smile. The fastest way to lose it is to complain.

24、Minds work together
"Let's brainstorm together!" You might often hear your teachers ask you to have a group discussion to solve a problem. But is brainstorming really a good way to deal with problems, especially creative ones?
Dutch company WeTransfer conducted (进行) a survey of 20,000 people from 197 countries and regions. Most of the participants have creative jobs. They are writers, musicians, photographers, and podcasters (播客博主). The survey results suggested that brainstorming is largely unhelpful for solving a creative challenge.
"It seems that while working together is important to bring an idea to life, it's not that good for shaping ideas in the first place," said Rob Alderson, WeTransfer's former editor in chief.
If we give people enough time and space to think properly (适当地), they will come up with better ideas, Alderson added. Even Alex Osborn, the father of brainstorming, sees spending time alone to think as part of his own creative process.
However, most companies fail to give their employees (员工) a chance to prepare and form their thoughts. They often have many meetings scheduled, which is a killer of creativity, according to the survey. More than 40 percent of participants see meetings as a barrier (障碍) to good thinking.
Spending time alone to think will help you come up with your own ideas and develop independent thinking. This is important when you're making decisions. Nearly 80 percent of participants in We Transfer's survey say they trust their own instincts (直觉) and research when they consider an idea.
【1】What was the result of the survey?

26、 One day, while I was waiting for my father, I saw a little boy, around two years old, running freely on the grass as his mother watched from a short distance. The boy had a big smile on his face as if he had just been set free from some sort of prison(监狱). The boy would then fall to the grass, get up, without looking back at his mother, run as fast as he could, again, still with a smile on his face, as if nothing had happened.
At that moment,I thought to myself, “Why aren’t most adults this way?” Most adults, when they fall down, make a big deal out of it and don’t even make a second attempt(尝试). They would be so embarrassed that they would not try again if someone saw them fall. Or, because they fall, they would find a good excuse for themselves that they’re not fit for it. They would end up being too afraid to attempt again for fear of failure .
However, with kids, when they fall down, they don’t consider their falling down as a failure, instead, they treat it as a learning experience. They try again and again until they succeed. The answer must be that they have not connected “falling down” with the word “failure”. What’s more, they probably think to themselves that it’s quite okay to fall down and that it’s not wrong to do so. In other words, they allow themselves to make mistakes,so they remain energetic.
