With a habit of drinking coffee on weekends while doing schoolwork, Wu Zibo, a 17-year-old student from Beijing No.4 High School, wanted to order a cup of sauce-flavored latte—a cup of coffee with a little wine (白酒). He wondered how his father’s favorite Chinese wine would taste with his favorite coffee.
The new drink has interested many people. It sold 5.42 million cups and made 100 million yuan just on Sept 4th, the first day it came out.
The wine brand has tried many ways in recent years to be more creative, for example, producing a wine-flavored ice cream. “The creative coffee makes our brand younger,” Mr. Lee, a marketing manager said. “Through collaborations (合作), different brands can share what they need, make the market bigger, and bring more creative things to buyers,” added Lee.
However, not all collaborations succeeded. In the collaboration between another two brands, people could get a popular bag by buying at least two books in their coffee shop. But the two books would cost 580 yuan. People were not happy with it, and the collaboration stopped quickly.
“The key to making a collaboration work is about how good the products are. The brands should not just focus on getting the public excited,”said Lee.

②The customers can buy more new things.
③The two companies can both get something they want.
A.①②
B.②③
C.①③
【4】Why did the collaboration between another two brands fail?
A.The coffee wasn’t tasty enough.
B.Few people liked these two brands.
C.People didn’t like the rule of getting their bags.
【5】What’s Mr. Lee’s opinion about brand collaboration?
A.The brands should focus on the quality of products.
B.The brands should create more chances of collaborations.
C.The brands should pay more attention to the public’s interests.
26、We know good manners are important. Today I am going to tell you something about manners in different countries. I think you already know that people in different countries usually have different ways of doing things. Something that is rude in one country may be quite polite in another. For example, in Britain you mustn’t lift your bowl to your mouth when you are having liquid food. That is considered bad manners in Britain. But in Japan you needn’t worry about making a noise when you drink something. It shows that you are enjoying it. In Britain we try not to put our hands on the table at all during a meal. In Mexico, however, guests are expected to keep their hand on the table throughout a meal. In Arabic countries we must be careful with our hands. You see, in Arabic countries you mustn’t eat with your left hand. This is considered to be very impolite. So, what should you do if you visit a foreign country? Well, you needn’t worry. You can ask the native people there to help you and you can just watch carefully and try to do what they do.
【1】In Arabic countries you must be careful with your_____.
A. feet B. mouth C. eyes D. hands
【2】In Britain we try not to put out hands _____ during a meal.

27、In 2011, when British photographer David J. Slater was visiting a park in Indonesia, his camera was taken away by a group of black monkeys. The result was hundreds of monkey selfies (自拍照). The best ones show a female monkey smiling toothily for the camera. Slater then sold the photos and they became popular on the Internet.
Nobody knew they would create a copyright battle three years later.
Last month, Wikimedia Commons put the monkey selfies online under a collection of free photos without Slater’s permission. Slater asked the website to take them down since he owns the copyright.
However, Wikimedia Foundation—the organization behind Wikimedia Commons—refused Slater’s request. They said that according to US copyright law, whoever pushes the button on the camera owns the copyright to the photo. It was the monkeys but not Slater that pushed the button.
What’s more, monkeys don’t own copyright. “US copyright law says that works that come from a non-human source can’t ask for copyright,” said Katherine Maher, Chief Communications Officer of Wikimedia.
Slater argues that the pictures belong to him as they were taken from his camera. He said he bought the cameras; he spent a lot of money to travel to Indonesia; and it was his carelessness that allowed the monkeys to take his cameras away. All these have made him the author of the picture, no matter who pushed the button. In a sense, the monkeys could be regarded as his assistant, Slater said.
As of now, there has been no result in the Monkey Selfie case. Who do you think will win this interesting battle?
【1】 What can we learn from the first paragraph?
A. Some monkeys grabbed Slater’s camera.

A. 网络 B. 版权 C. 材料
【3】The copyright battle of the photos began in ______.
A. 2011 B. 2012 C. 2014
【4】Who owns the copyright of the photos according to Wikimedia?

A. A copyright battle over photos taken by monkeys.
B. Why Wikipedia refused to take down some photos.
C. How the photos taken by monkeys became popular online.
